A flavorful addition to lunch or dinner, each bag contains broccoli florets, julienne carrots and sweet peppers in an olive oil garlic-herb sauce. Made with no artificial flavors or preservatives, this Green Giant frozen vegetable blend makes it easier to get your daily serving of veggies. This vegetable mix is rich in antioxidant vitamins A and C, and contains 50 calories per serving, and is available in a convenient easy-to-stack box with a microwavable pouch inside for easy preparation. To enjoy these mixed frozen vegetables, microwave in the bag on high for 3 to 5 minutes. Keep this Green Giant vegetable mix frozen until you are ready to cook and refrigerate any leftovers.
Instructions
Must cook thoroughly. See cook instructions. Directions: For food safety and quality, follow the directions. Before eating, cook thoroughly to at least 165 degrees F. Keep frozen until ready to cook. Do not thaw. Adjust cook times and heat settings as needed. Refrigerate leftovers. Microwave (Recommended): Remove pouch from carton. Place pouch, printed side up, on microwaveable plate. Do not cut slit in pouch. Microwave on high according to chart until thoroughly cooked. Microwave Wattage: 1200; Time on High*: 3 - 3-1/2 min.. Microwave Wattage: 1000; Time on High*: 4 - 5 min. Microwave Wattage: 700; Time on High*: 5 - 5-1/2 min. Let stand 1 minute. Caution: Hot! Pull or cut to open. Empty into serving dish; stir. * Microwave ovens vary. Adjust cooking times as needed. Product will vent while cooking; a popping sound may be heard. Stove Top: Important: Do not heat pouch in boiling water. Empty contents of pouch into 2-quart nonstick saucepan. Add 1 tbsp of water. Cover. Cook on medium heat for 7-15 minutes, or until thoroughly cooked. Break up and stir occasionally. Keep frozen.
