Instructions
You Will Need: 1 large egg; 1/3 cup water; 1/2 cup vegetable oil. Baking Instructions: See side of box for ingredient swaps. Step 1 - Prep: Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Spray bottom of pan with PAM cooking spray. Step 2 - Mix: Stir brownie mix, oil, egg and water together in a large bowl until well blended, about 50 strokes. Spread into greased pan and bake immediately. Step 3 - Bake: Bake on rack in center of oven following chart below. *Add 3-5 minutes of glass pan. Brownie is done when toothpick inserted 1-inch from the edge of pan comes out clean. Cool completely in pan on wire rack before cutting and serving. For cake-like brownies: Use 2 eggs, mix according to the directions in step 2 and bake according to chart below. High Altitude (Over 3,500 Ft): Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Stir 2 tablespoons flour into brownie mix. Mix according to the directions in step 2. Bake at 350 degrees F. 13x9 inch pan 21 to 23 minutes. Pan Size: 8 x 8 inch; 34-37 min bake time. 9 x 9 inch; 27-30 min bake time. 9 x 13 inch; 20-23 min bake time. Quick Tip: Refrigerate brownies for 30 minutes before cutting for the neatest squares. Do not eat raw butter.
