Instructions

Stove Top: Cook only one bag at a time. 1. Empty frozen contents of bag into a 2 qt. nonstick saucepan. 2. Cook uncovered over medium-high heat for 7 to 8 minutes, stirring occasionally. 3. Check that food is cooked thoroughly to 165 degrees F. Careful, it's hot! Serve and enjoy! Microwave Oven: Cook only one bag at a time. 1. Place frozen, unopened bag this side up, laying flat in microwave. Do not pierce bag. For microwaves with a metal rack, remove rack. 2. Microwave on high 4 to 5 minutes. During cooking, the bag will slowly inflate. A special vent in the bag will allow the steam to escape and a whistling sound may be heard. 3. Let stand 1 minute. Carefully handle bag at corners marked with the ovals and remove from microwave with two hands. Check that food is cooked thoroughly. Hold bag over serving dish. Tear bag at notch. Pour, stir, and serve. Caution: Food will be hot. For Food Safety and Quality: Keep frozen. Do not thaw. Microwave directions developed with 1100-watt microwave ovens. Appliances vary.
