Store in the freezer until ready to prepare. When you’re ready to use, quickly and easily prepare these frozen, no-mess, scrumptious side dishes right in the microwavable bag it comes in, or in a skillet on the stovetop. Instructions
Must cook thoroughly. See cook instructions. Stove Top (Recommended): Squeeze bag gently to separate veggies and rice. Add 1 tbsp. of butter or oil to a non-stick skillet. Pour entire contents of bag into the skillet, cover. Cook over medium heat for 10 minutes, or until vegetables are thoroughly cooked, stirring occasionally. Microwave: Place unopened bag standing up on a microwave safe plate. .Microwave on high 5-1/2 - 6 minutes* or until thoroughly cooked. Let stand 1 minute in microwave. Carefully remove bag. Tear bag at notch. Empty into a serving dish; stir well. *microwave directions developed with 1000-watt ovens. Microwave ovens vary. Adjust cooking times as needed. Caution: Hot steam! For food safety and quality, follow the directions. Before eating, cook thoroughly to at least 165 degrees F. Keep frozen until ready to cook. Do not thaw.
