Instructions

Bake: Uncovered about 35 minutes or until top is golden brown and potatoes are tender (sauce will thicken). Baking Tips: For 2 boxes, double all ingredients; bake in 3-quart casserole dish about 40 minutes at 425 degrees F. Bake potatoes and roast meat at same time: 325 degrees F about 60 minutes. 350 degrees F about 50 minutes. 375 degrees F about 45 minutes. Make It Like Betty: Stir 3/4 cup cooked diced ham into potato mixture before baking. Top baked Cheesy Scalloped Casserole Potatoes with 1/2 cup crushed round buttery crackers and 2 tablespoons chopped green onions before serving. Stove-Top Directions: 1. Sir Sauce Mix, 1-1/2 cups hot water, 2/3 cup milk, 2 tablespoons butter and Potatoes in 2-quart saucepan. Heat just to boiling, stirring occasionally. Watch carefully to avoid boilover. 2. Reduce heat. Cover; reduce simmer about 25 minutes, stirring often, until tender (sauce will thicken). Microwave Directions: 1. Stir Sauce Mix, 2 cups Stuf hot water, 2/3 cup milk, 2 tablespoons butter and Potatoes in 2-1/2-quart microwavable casserole dish. 2. Microwave uncovered on high 18 to 23 minutes, microwave stirring every 5 minutes, until tender (sauce will thicken). Caution: Hot! Add milk and butter. To open lift.
