Betty Crocker Supreme Brownie Mix Original
Instructions
Do not eat raw brownie batter. You Will Need: 1/4 cup water; 1/2 cup vegetable oil; 1 egg (For cakelike brownies: Use 1/4 cup water; 1/2 cup vegetable oil and 2 eggs). 1. Heat: Heat your oven to 350 degrees F if you have a shiny metal pan or 325 degrees F for dark, nonstick or glass pan. Grease bottom of pan with cooking spray or shortening. 2. Stir: In a medium bowl, stir brownie mix, pouch of Hershey's syrup, water, oil and egg until well blended. Spread in pan. 3. Bake: Bake as directed in chart or until toothpick inserted 2 inches from side of pan comes out almost clean. Let cool. If you want to cut warm brownies easily, use a plastic knife and short sawing motions. Store tightly covered. For Easy Cleanup: Line the brownie pan with foil for easy removal and cutting. For Brownies in a 13x9 Pan: Heat oven to 325 degrees F; use 2 boxes of brownie mix, 1/2 cup of water, 1 cup vegetable oil and 2 eggs. Bake 51-54 minutes. High Altitude (3500-6500 ft): Stir 1 tbsp of all-purpose flour into dry brownie mix.
