Instructions
COOKING TEXMATI BROWN RICE: 2 1/4 CUPS WATER; 1/2 TSP SALT (OPTIONAL); 1 TSP BUTTER OR OLIVE OIL (OPTIONAL); 1 CUP RICE. BRING WATER TO A BOIL. ADD SALT AND BUTTER OR OLIVE OIL, IF DESIRED. STIR IN RICE. COVER WITH LID; REDUCE HEAT TO LOW AND SIMMER 45 MINUTES. REMOVE FROM HEAT AND LET STAND (COVERED) 5 MINUTES. FLUFF WITH A FORK AND SERVE. YIELDS APPROXIMATELY 3 3/4 CUPS.
