Instructions
Must be cooked thoroughly. Prep in just 20 min. 1 tbsp. olive oil. 1 tbsp. garlic, chopped. 1 tsp. dried oregano. 1 pkg. Pictsweet Farms frozen Diced Onions & Peppers. 1/4 cup cilantro leaves, chopped. 1 tbsp. apple cider vinegar. 1. Heat oil in a large saute pan. 2. Saute frozen vegetables, garlic and oregano for 5-6 minutes, stirring frequently. 3. Add cilantro and vinegar; stir to combine. 4. Puree sofrito in a blender or food processor until desired texture. Stove Top Directions: 1. Heat 2 tbsp. oil in skillet on high heat. 2. Add package of frozen vegetables into skillet. 3. Saute for 4 minutes. Do not place this package in microwave. For Food Safety: Keep frozen until ready to cook. Do not refreeze. Heat to 165 degrees F before use. Refrigerate leftovers. Also great for omelets & chili. Sofrito is great in rice, beans, soup, stews or as a marinade.
