Dolly’s Sweet Cornbread: You Will Need: 1 cup milk, 1 large egg, 1/3 cup melted butter. Do no eat raw batter. Directions: 1. Prep: Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Spray bottom and sides of pan with Pam or use baking cups for muffins. 2. Mix: Stir together cornbread mix, milk, egg, and melted butter in a large bowl until blended. Pour into pan and bake immediately. 3. Bake: Bake on rack in center of oven following chart below. Add 3 to 5 minutes for glass pan. Cornbread is done when toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Serve warm. Pan Size: 8 x 8 inches; Bake Time: 20 to 24 min. Pan Size: 9 x 9 inches; Bake Time: 18 to 22 min. Pan Size: 12 Muffin pan; Bake Time: 14 to 18 min. Pan Size: 9-inch cast iron skillet; Bake Time: 31 to 35 min. Dolly's Extra Special Jalapeno Cheddar Cornbread: You will need: 1 Pkg (16 oz) Dolly Parton Cornbread Mix; 11/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese; 1 medium Jalapeno, seeded and finely chopped; 1/3 cup melted butter; 1 cup milk; 1 egg. Do not eat raw batter. 1. Prep: Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Spray pan with PAM. 2. Mix: Stir together corn bread mix, cheddar cheese and jalapeno in large bowl. Pour in milk, egg, and melted butter. Stir until well blended. 3. Bake: Pour batter into pan. Bake on rack in center of oven following chart below. Add 3 to 5 minutes for glass pan. Cornbread is done when toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Serve warm. Pan Size: 8 x 8 inches; Bake Time: 25 to 28 min. Pan Size: 9 x 9 inches; Bake Time: 21 to 25 min. Pan Size: 12 Muffins; Bake Time: 17 to 21 min. Pan Size: 9-inch cast iron skillet; Bake Time: 34 to 38 min.
