Description
Slightly thinner and narrower than Fettucine, Barilla Linguine is made from long, flat strands of pasta. Suitable for almost any pasta sauce, be it oil, dairy, or tomato-based, pair with olive oil, black pepper, unsalted butter, and Pecorino Romano cheese for a simple, delicious pasta dish everyone will love. Part of our Classic Blue Box range, which means perfect, quality "al dente" pasta every time, our linguine pasta cooks in just 10 minutes. Simply bring 4 to 6 quarts of water to a boil, adding salt to taste to enhance the pasta's flavor, then add the linguine. For authentic "al dente" pasta, boil uncovered, stirring occasionally for 10 minutes. For pasta that's more tender, boil for an additional minute. Drain well and serve immediately with your favorite Barilla pasta sauce. With a variety of shapes in our line of traditional semolina pasta, you're sure to find the perfect pasta for any recipe. From our short shapes like Classic Blue Box Elbows or Farfalle to longer variations such as Classic Blue Box Angel Hair or Spaghetti, you're guaranteed to always get a perfect "al dente" bite. At Barilla, we're passionate about pasta and have been sharing our passion with the world since 1877, when the first pasta shapes were made by hand using simple tools. We strive to make pasta and sauces using non-GMO ingredients that are good for you and good for the planet.
