Safe Handling Instructions: This product was prepared from inspected and passed meat and/or poultry. Some food products may contain bacteria that could cause illness if the product is mishandled or cooked improperly. For your protection, follow these safe handling instructions. Keep refrigerated or frozen. Thaw in refrigerator or microwave. Keep raw meat and poultry separate from other foods. Wash working surfaces (including cutting boards), utensils, and hands after touching raw meat or poultry. Cook thoroughly. Keep hot foods hot. Refrigerate leftovers immediately or discard. Taco's: Brown 1lb. Smithfield Signature Ground Pork; mix with 1 pkg. taco seasoning mix and 1 cup salsa. Use taco shells or tortillas and toppings your family prefers. Chili: Brown 1lb. Smithfield Signature Ground Pork; drain. Stir in 1 (15.5-oz.) can chili beans, 1 (14.5-oz.) can diced tomatoes with green chiles, and 1 envelope chili seasoning mix. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer 15 minutes. Skillet Lasagna: Brown 1lb. Smithfield Signature Ground Pork; drain. Stir in 1 (28-oz.) jar spaghetti sauce, 8-oz. pkg. mini lasagna noodles (mafalda) and 1-1/2 cups water. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer 15 minutes. Combine 8 oz. light cream cheese, 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese and 1 tablespoon parsley flakes; drop by teaspoons over top of pasta mixture. Sprinkle top with 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese. Cover and simmer 5 minutes until cheese is melted. Previously handled frozen for your protection. Refreeze or keep refrigerated.
