Use this convenient seasoning mix to enjoy a complete meal of savory beef and tender crisp broccoli to serve over rice. Weeknight cooks prize recipes that require little effort, are family-pleasing, and are well-balanced with vegetables. Beef & Broccoli checks all those boxes with its minimal prep time and familiar taste, and it's made with stir-fry flavors like ginger, garlic, and sesame oil. To prepare our easy recipe, stir-fry beef then broccoli, stir in mixture of water, soy sauce, and the seasoning mix, and cook until sauce is slightly thickened.
Instructions
Beef & Broccoli : Prep Time : 10 minutes. Cook Time: 15 minutes. Makes 4 servings. You Will Need: 1 pkg. McCormick Seasoning mix; 1 1/2 cups water; 2 tbsp. soy sauce; 2 tbsp. vegetable oil, divided; 1 lb. boneless sirloin steak, cut into thin strips. 3 cups broccoli florets. Directions: 1. Mix water, soy sauce and Seasoning Mix in bowl. Set aside. 2. Heat 1 tbsp. of the oil in large nonstick skillet on medium-high heat. Add beef; stir-fry 3 minutes or until desired doneness. Remove from skillet. Heat remaining oil in same skillet. Add broccoli; stir-fry 4 minutes or until tender crisp. 3. Stir sauce mixture. Add to skillet. Stirring constantly, bring to boil on medium heat. Return beef to skillet. Cook 2 minutes or until sauce is slightly thickened. Serve with cooked rice, if desired.
