Adluh Plain Yellow Corn Meal

Instructions

Plain Corn Meal Recipes: Adluh muffins, corn sticks, cornbread. 2 cups Adluh plain corn meal, 1 tbsp sugar (optional), 3 tbsp baking powder, 1 egg, 1 1/4 cup sweet milk, 3 tbsp soft or melted fat, 1 tsp salt. Set oven control to 475 degrees for oven to preheat. Mix together egg, milk and fat. Add all at once to dry ingredients; pour the batter into hot greased muffin pans, filling about 2/3 full. Pop quickly into preheated oven. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes. For corn sticks, bake in corn sticks molds; for cornbread, bake in shallow pan 9 inches x 9 inches x 2 inches. Do not eat raw mix or batter.
