Pan Fry: Simple Steps to Delicious Potatoes Heat 2 Tbsp. of vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add potatoes. Cover with lid. Cook 12–15 minutes, turning every 3–4 minutes. Note: During cooking, potatoes must reach a temperature of 165°F for 2 minutes. Do not eat until fully cooked. For best quality and cooking results, do not freeze. Keep refrigerated. After opening, store in an airtight container and use within 3 days.
