Description
We think there is no better tradition than enjoying a savory delicious bowl of blackeye peas on New Year’s Day. So indulgent, they set the tone for a great year. These delightfully versatile peas are a perfect choice anytime, adding golden richness to salads and salsas.
Instructions
Must be cooked thoroughly. Stop Top Directions: 1. Open package and pour frozen peas into a saucepan. 2. Cover with water. 3. Boil for 3 minutes. 4. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 30-35 minutes. Additional water may be needed. 5. Drain and season to taste. Do not place this package in microwave. For Food Safety: Keep frozen until ready to cook. Do not refreeze. Heat to 165 degrees F before use. Refrigerate leftovers.
