Start your day with a hot oatmeal breakfast by adding 1 cup of steel cut oats into four cups of boiling water and let it simmer for 5 minutes. Keep it in the fridge overnight and cook the oatmeal for 9 to 12 minutes before serving with your favorite toppings. To make traditional Irish porridge, add oatmeal to briskly boiling water and stir occasionally until it becomes smooth and begins to thicken. Simmer for about 30 minutes and serve.
