Description
Lentils, Red
Instructions
Beans are natural agricultural products. Despite use of modern agricultural equipment, it is not always possible to remove all foreign material. Sort and rinse before cooking. Basic Cooking Instructions: Stovetop: Rinse lentils before cooking. Place 1 cup lentils in a Large pot with 3 cups of water and 1 tsp salt. Bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer, cover and cook until tender, 15-20 minutes; drain well. Makes 4 servings. Note: Pre-soaking, slow or pressure cooking is not recommended, unless a specific recipe requests it. Store in a cool, dry place. Tear to open.
Ingredients
Red Lentils.
