Description
Boar’s Head Naturally Smoked All Natural Uncured Bacon has no artificial ingredients and is minimally processed. Similar to our other bacon skus, it is naturally hardwood smoked and crafted with high quality pork bellies from pigs raised in Canada.
Instructions
Safe Handling Instructions: This product was prepared from inspected and passed meat and/or poultry. Some food products may contain bacteria that could cause illness if the product is mishandled or cooked improperly. For your protection, follow these safe handling instructions. Keep refrigerated or frozen. Thaw in refrigerator or microwave. Keep raw meat and poultry separate from other foods. Wash working surfaces (including cutting boards), utensils, and hands after touching raw meat or poultry. Cook thoroughly. Keep hot foods hot. Refrigerate leftovers immediately or discard. Cooking Directions: Pan Fry: Place bacon slices in skillet. Cook over low heat, turning frequently, to desired crispness. Drain on paper towels. Microwave: Place bacon slices on paper towels on a microwave-safe dish and cover with paper towel. Cook on high to desired crispness: 1 slice: 1-1-1/2 mins., 4 slices: 2-1/2-3-1/2 mins., 8+ Slices: begin with 7-8 minutes and add additional time if needed. Conventional Oven: Preheat oven to 385 degrees F. Place bacon slices on a sheet pan and bake on bottom rack for 18 minutes or until desired crispness. No preserved. Keep refrigerated below 40 degrees F at all times. Best when used by date stamped on package.
