SausageWorks Pesto Orecchiette with Chicken Sausage
Pasta never looked so good…the carbs are worth it!
Ingredients
- 3/4 Pound Orecchiette
- 1/2 Pound Green Beans, 1-Inch Slices
- 1 Carrot, 1-Inch Slices
- 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
- 8 Ounces Cooked Chicken Sausage, Thinly Sliced
- 1/2 Cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
- 1/3 Cup Pesto
Directions
Bring pasta to a boil. Add vegetables for 3 minutes before draining. Drain all but 1 cup of water from pot before returning pasta and vegetables to pot. Heat olive oil over medium heat in large skillet, adding chicken sausage to cook until browned. Add sausage, pesto and Parmesan cheese to Orecchiette. Stir to combine ingredients.
