Ingredients

  1. 6 Links Of Your Favorite Sausageworks Sausage - Cooked
  2. 1 Cup Of Cornmeal
  3. 1/2 Cup Of All-Purpose Flour
  4. 1/4 Cup Of Shortening - Melted
  5. 1/2 Cup Of Milk
  6. 1 Cup Of Buttermilk
  7. 1 Egg
  8. 1/2 Teaspoon Of Baking Soda
  9. 1 Tablespoon Of Baking Powder

Directions

  • Begin heating oven to 425 degrees.
  • In a large bowl, mix together cornmeal, salt, and flour.
  • In a different bowl, mix the egg, milk and butter milk.
  • To the egg and milk mixture, add in the baking soda and baking powder.
  • Add the cornmeal, salt and flour mixture to the egg and milk mixture.
  • Stir in the melted shortening.
  • Cut sausages into pieces.
  • Fill greased muffin tins about half-way.
  • Press one sausage piece into center of each tin.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes.
  • Enjoy!
