Our State Strawberry Custard Pie
Nothing can beat a rich, creamy treat that is topped off with freshly sliced strawberries!
Ingredients
- 1/2 Cup Sugar
- 1/2 Teaspoons Vanilla Extract
- 2 Tablespoons Corn Starch
- 1 Cup Scalded Milk
- 2 Eggs, Beaten
- 1 Unbaked Deep Dish Pie Shell
- 2 Cups Of Fresh Pick & Prep Strawberries
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix eggs and milk and add to dry ingredients. Stir in vanilla. Pour into unbaked pie shell. Add sliced strawberries on top. Bake at 350 degrees until custard thickens, crust browns - about 40 minutes. Enjoy!
