How to prepare decorating bag: To use bag without a coupler, simply drop decorating tip into bag with the narrow end of the tip down and trim bag to fit tip. To use bag with a coupler, trim bag with scissors to accommodate coupler base. Twist ring off coupler base and drop (narrow end first) into bag. Push coupler base as far down into bag and with a pencil; mark the spot on the outside where the bottom thread is outlined against the bag material. Remove coupler and cut across the mark. Replace coupler in bag and push through bag opening. One thread should be showing. Position decorating tip on outside of bag over coupler base. Twist on ring to hold tip in place.
