Instructions
Directions: What you Need: 1 lb. Lean ground beef. 1 pkg. (8 oz.) shredded cheddar cheese. Chopped lettuce and tomatoes. Sour cream. 1. Brown meat in skillet; drain. Add seasoning mix and 3/4 cup water. Bring to boil; simmer on medium-low heat 10 min., stirring occasionally. 2. Meanwhile, bake taco shells in oven on baking sheet at 300 degrees F for 3 to 5 min. or until warmed. Remove tortillas from wrapper; place on microwaveable plate. Microwave on high 30 sec. Caution: Do not heat taco shells in toaster oven due to possible fire risk. 3. Fill bowls with meat, cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, sour cream and mild sauce. Pass the taco shells and tortillas and let everyone customize their taco. Makes 6 servings, 2 tacos each. Try veggie or chicken tacos: substitute 4 cups mixed fresh veggies for ground beef. Cook and stir veggies for 10 min. Continue as directed. Substitute 1 lb. Boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into strips, for the ground beef. Use cooking spray as necessary. Tear across to open.
