Safe Handling Instructions: This is made with raw corn, so it is not ready-to-eat and must be thoroughly cooked before eating to prevent illness. Do not eat or play with raw product; wash hands, utensils, and surfaces after handling. Microwave: Hot water (1) Combine grits and boiling water in a medium bowl. (2) Stir until blended. Microwave (1 serving) (1) Combine grits and water in medium (1-1/2 to 2qt.) microwaveable bowl. (2) Microwave on high: 1 serving: 1-1/2 to 2 minutes 2-4 servings: 2-l/2 to 3 minutes. (3) Stir before serving. Cook time may be longer if using milk. Microwave ovens vary in power, cooking times may need to be adjusted. Cooking instructions: Servings: 1. Instant Grits: 1/2 cup.
