Instructions
Before cooking, please read inside label for helpful tips. Ingredients Needed: 1 medium chopped onion, 1 diced carrot, 1 or 2 chopped potatoes, 1 chopped celery stalk, 1/8 to 1/3 cup vegetable oil or ham hock. Stove Top: (1) Pick through and wash peas. (2) Add 4-1/2 cups water, bring to boil, reduce heat. (3) Add ingredients and seasoning (to taste). (4) Boil gently 1 hour or until done. Stir occasionally and add water as desired. Crock Pot: (1) Pick through and wash peas. (2) Put peas in crock pot with 4-1/2 cups water, ingredients, and seasoning (to taste). (3) Cook on low until done per crock pot instructions.
