Description
Irish Oatmeal, Quick Cooking
Instructions
Cooking Directions: For each serving: Recommended cook method. Bring 1 cup water to boil. Stir in 1/2 cup McCann's Irish Oatmeal. Cook 1 minute over medium heat or until thickened. Stir regularly. Cover and remove from heat. Let sit 2-3 minutes, stir and serve. Microwave: For each serving: Add 1/2 cup of McCann's Irish Oatmeal to 1 cup water in a 2 qt microwave-safe bowl (the size of the bowl is important as it must be large enough to allow the oats to bubble without spilling over). Microwave on high for 1-1/2 to 2 minutes or until thickened. Stir before serving. Note: As microwaves are different, cooking times may vary. For thicker oatmeal use less water. Lift tab to open.
