Instructions
Sausage and peppers pizza: Preheat oven to 475 degrees F. Spoon 1/3 cup of Carbone spicy pizza sauce onto 12 inch pizza dough and spread. Sprinkle 1 cup of shredded low moisture mozzarella cheese on top. Apply quarter sized pieces of uncooked, with casing removed, hot Italian sausage. Dress 1/2 cup roasted red pepper strips with 1 tsp of red wine vinegar and apply evenly on pizza. Bake in oven for about 15 minutes, rotating halfway through cooking, until the crust is browned and cheese is golden. Once removed from oven, top each slice with dollops of ricotta cheese. Finish with sliced hot cherry peppers and drizzle of extra virgin olive oil. Buon appetito! Refrigerate after opening.
