Instructions
Cooking: On the Stovetop: 1. Bring 1 & 3/4 cups water (For creamier rice, replace half the water with A Taste of Thai Coconut Milk.) to a boil in covered pot. (Optional: Add 1 tbsp oil or butter and 1/2 tsp of salt). 2. Add 1 cup jasmine rice (1 cup of uncooked jasmine rice equals 3 cups cooked.). Bring back to a boil. Stir and cover. Reduce heat to low, simmer for 15 minutes or until water is absorbed and rice is tender. 3. Remove from heat. Stir and re-cover. Let stand covered for 5 minutes. Enjoy! In the Microwave: 1. Stir together 1 cup of jasmine rice (1 cup of uncooked jasmine rice equals 3 cups cooked.) and 1 & 3/4 cups water (For creamer rice, replace half the water with A Taste of Thai Coconut Milk.) in a microwave-safe dish. (Optional: Add 1 tbsp oil or butter and 1/2 tsp of salt). 2. Cover and microwave on high for 10 minutes. Uncover and stir. 3. Re-cover and microwave on high for 2 minutes, or until water is absorbed and rice is tender. Let stand covered for 2 minutes. Enjoy!
