Overnight Oat Yogurt Parfait
Ingredients
- 16 Ounce Mason Jar
- 1/4 Cup Oats
- 3/4 Cup Milk (or Enough to Cover Oats)
- 1-2 Tablespoons Honey (or to Taste)
- 1/2 - 3/4 Cups Fresh Fruit, Cut Into Bitesize Pieces
- 1/2 Cup Vanilla Greek Yogurt
Directions
Starting with oats as the base, layer ingredients in the order listed. Cover and let set in refrigerator for 6-8 hours prior to consuming. Enjoy within 24 hours. (Notes: Experiment with different fruits, milks (such as almond milk), yogurt flavors, and even toppers such as nuts and sunflower seeds (add just before enjoying) to find your favorite flavor combinations. Also try substituting half the oats with quinoa. For added nutrition, add chia seeds to the base. Start with 1-2 teaspoons and add from there.)
