Ingredients

  1. 1/4 Cup Unsalted Butter
  2. 2 Pounds Carrots, Peeled, Quartered And Cut Into 2-Inch-Long Sticks
  3. 1/4 Teaspoon Salt
  4. 1/4 Cup Water
  5. 2 Tablespoons Brown Sugar
  6. 2 Teaspoons Fresh Ginger, Peeled And Grated
  7. 1 Teaspoon Sesame Seeds
  8. Green Onion, Sliced Thin

Directions

  • In a skillet over medium heat, melt the butter and sauté carrots with salt until tender—about 5 minutes.
  • Add the water, brown sugar and ginger and cook for another 5 minutes or until water has reduced and carrots are glazed.
  • Garnish with sesame seeds and onion and serve.
