Easy Ground Beef Chili

Easy homemade Ground Beef Chili recipe is a hearty, winning meal for a crowd. Make this classic recipe with beans, tomatoes, peppers, and blend of spices.(usually cut from the bottom sirloin or round) in your grocery store’s meat department for less prep work.
Ingredients
- 3 pounds Certified Angus Beef ground beef
- 1 onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 tablespoon Brown Bag Chili Powder
- 1 tablespoon Brown Bag Ground Cumin
- 1 tablespoon Cayenne Pepper
- 1 tablespoon coarse kosher salt
- 2 jalepeños, stems removed and finely minced
- 1 (28-ounce) can Brown Bag Diced Tomatoes
- 1 (15-ounce) can Brown Bag Tomato Sauce
- 1 (15-ounce) can Brown Bag Red Kidney beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 (15-ounce) can Brown Bag Pinto Beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 (6-ounce) can Brown Bag Tomato Paste
- Optional toppings: Brown Bag Shredded Sharp Cheddar, Brown Bag Sour Cream, diced green onions
Directions
In a large heavy-bottom pot add sausage, onion and garlic over medium heat. Cook, breaking up large pieces until no pink remains, approximately 10 minutes. Drain excess fat, if desired. Add chili powder, cumin, cayenne pepper, jalapeño and salt. Simmer for 5 minutes, stirring frequently. Stir in tomatoes, sauce, beans and paste. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to low and simmer for 2 hours, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking.
