Cinnamon Toast Crunch French Toast
We’re taking decadent French toast up to a whole new level. Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal adds a sweet, crunchy crust, leading to a warm, soft center. Topped with butter and maple syrup, this is a definite splurge but we think it’s worth it.
Ingredients
- 2 Cups Cinnamon Toast Crunch Cereal
- 3 Large Eggs
- 1/4 Cup Milk
- 5 Slices Authentic Sliced Brioche Bread
- 1 Tablespoon Butter For Frying (More For Smearing)
- Maple Syrup
Directions
Pour cereal into large Ziploc bag. Crush rolling pin into fine crumbs. Pour onto plate and set aside. In large shallow dish, crack eggs and whisk with milk. Dip each slice of bread into egg mixture, then coat in cereal crumbs. In large saucepan, melt 1 tablespoon butter. Cook bread until browned on either side, in batches, adding additional butter as needed. Remove from pan and serve warm, with more butter and maple syrup.
