Chicken Kitchen BBQ Chicken Flatbread Pizza
We love the flavorful twist of putting BBQ chicken on a pizza and this semi-homemade, heart-healthy recipe is sure to please everyone in the family.
Ingredients
- 4 Whole Wheat Flatbreads
- 1/4 Chicken Kitchen Rotisserie Chicken, Shredded
- 1/4 Cup, Plus 8 Tablespoons, Barbecue Sauce
- 2 Cups Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
- 1/8 Red Onion, Diced
- 1/2 Cup Cilantro, Chopped
Directions
Preheat oven to 400°. In small bowl, mix chicken and 1/4 cup barbecue sauce until combined. Set aside. Dice red onion and chop cilantro. Set aside. Place each flatbread on a large baking pan. Spread 2 tablespoons of barbecue sauce onto each flatbread. Top each flatbread in this order: 1/8 cup mozzarella cheese, 1/4 chicken and barbecue mixture, 1/8 cup mozzarella cheese, 1/4 diced onions, sprinkle of cilantro. Bake flatbreads 15-20 minutes. Remove from oven and allow to cool. Slice and serve.
