Certified Angus Beef Crock Pot Sandwich
Crock pot meals are a one-pot way to cook while you are busy doing other things.
Ingredients
- 2 Pounds Of Certified Angus Beef Chuck Roast
- 10 Ounces Lowes Foods Hickory BBQ Sauce
- 24 Ounces Not Your Father’s Root Beer
- 1 Quart Lowes Foods Cole Slaw
- Lowes Foods Miami Onion Rolls
- Sliced Lowes Foods Sharp Cheddar Cheese
Directions
Cut roast in half to help ensure that it fits in the pot and is easier to handle, then place in crock pot. Add root beer and BBQ sauce (roasts vary in size and shape be sure the roast is covered with about an inch of liquid. Water can be added to cover as needed). Add remaining ingredients and cook on low for approximately 6 hours, or until you can pull it apart with a fork. Once beef is cooked, pull apart to shred. Place in a bowl with the juice. (If you are going to serve the next day be sure the meat is covered with the cooking liquid). Build sandwiches with bun, slaw and beef.
