Berry Smoothie
A quick, healthy breakfast option for those rushed mornings, or a tasty afternoon snack. Mix it up by adding different fruits to find your favorite combinations.
Ingredients
- 1/2 Cup Milk
- 1/4 Cup Frozen Strawberries
- 1/4 Cup Frozen Blueberries
- 1 Banana
- 1/2 Teaspoon Local Honey (Optional)
Directions
Blend all ingredients in a blender until smooth and thick. Hint: Freeze in-season berries on cookie sheet then transfer to Ziploc bag when frozen for local fruit any time of the year. Optional: For extra protein, add a teaspoon of nut butter before blending.
