Bacon the SausageWorks Way
Just when you thought SausageWorks sausages couldn’t get any better, we decided to wrap them in bacon! Experiment with our many varieties to find your favorite.
Ingredients
- 4 Sausageworks Sausage Links
- 4 Skewers
- 4 Slices Bacon
- Toothpicks
- 1/2 Cup Peppers, Chopped (Optional)
- 1/2 Cup Onions, Chopped (Optional)
- 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil (Optional)
- 4 Hot Dog Buns
Directions
Put a skewer through each sausage (keeps sausage from curling). Wrap piece of bacon around each sausage, secure with toothpicks. Grill until bacon and sausages are cooked through. If using, heat olive oil in medium pan over medium heat. Cook onions and peppers until they begin to soften. Serve in buns (with vegetables if using).
