Description
In 1877, Ilario and Leopoldo Ruffino established their namesake winery with the objective of creating an "ideal wine". 1877 Chianti DOCG is a tribute to their achievements. Today as in the past, this wine is made following the historical Chianti tradition of blending red grape varieties known for medium body and elegance, with a small amount of white grapes that enhance the aromatic profile, freshness and mouthfeel.
