Robert Mondavi Private Selection Rum Barrel-Aged Merlot Red Wine was inspired by American winemaker Robert Mondavi’s commitment to producing flavorful wines for modern wine lovers. This dry red wine is a celebration of the rich tradition of winemaking and offers delicious notes of black cherry, raspberry, baking spice, brown sugar, vanilla, and cocoa. It’s a medium bodied red wine enhanced by a lush finish and a hint of dark chocolate on the palate. Made from ripe Merlot grapes carefully picked at night and in the early morning, this red California wine underwent aging, blending, and fermentation. A portion of the wine was then aged for an additional 10 months in rum barrels made with American oak for full flavor development. Enjoy this 750 mL bottle of dry wine with seasoned chicken and meats.
