Remove the 2 foil lure packets from the apple base. 2. Cut the foil lure packet and pour the contents into the apple base. Store remaining lures in a cool, dry place for later use (1 Lure Packet Per Use. Replace After 30 Days). 3. Add about 2 teaspoons of warm tap water to the apple base. The lure will dissolve in approximately 30 minutes. A slight aroma is normal. Optional: Add 1-2 drops of liquid dish soap to enhance the lure, if desired. 4. Check the trap daily and add water as needed, ensuring the water level doesn't touch the funnel. 5. Reset the trap after approximately 30 days.
