Recommended Daily Feeding Amounts: Weight of Dog: 3-12 lbs (1.4-5.4 kgs); Amount To Feed: 1/2 to 1-1/8 cups (53-120 grams). Weight of Dog: 13-20 lbs (5.9-9.1 kgs); Amount To Feed: 1-1/4 to 1-2/3 cups (133-177 grams). Weight of Dog: 21-35 lbs (9.5-15.9 kgs); Amount To Feed: 1-2/3 to 2-1/3 cups (177-248 grams). Weight of Dog: 36-50 lbs (16.3-22.7 kgs); Amount To Feed: 2-1/3 to 3 cups (248-379 grams). Weight of Dog: 51-75 lbs (23.1-34.0 kgs); Amount To Feed: 3 to 3-3/4 cups (319-399 grams). Weight of Dog: 76-100 lbs (34.5-45.4 kgs). Amount To Feed: 4 to 4-2/3 cups (425-496 grams). Weight of Dog: Over 100 lbs (Over 45.4 kgs); Amount To Feed: 4-2/3 cups plus 1/3 cup for each 10 lbs of body weight over 100 lbs (496 grams plus 35 g for each 4.5 kg of body weight over 45.4 kg). Feeding Adult Dogs: The recommended feeding amounts are based on using a standard 8 oz/250 ml measuring cup which contains approximately 97 g of Purina Beneful Originals With Farm-Raised Beef. Most adult dogs can be fed once daily. However, when high activity or other factors create a higher feed intake, twice-a-day feeding is recommended. Dogs should be maintained in ideal body condition and not allowed to become overweight. The food intake required to maintain ideal body condition will vary, depending on age, activity and environment. Consequently, the amount of food required for each dog will vary and should be adjusted accordingly. Feeding Tip: When switching your dog to Beneful Originals dog food, please allow 7 - 10 days for the transition. Gradually add more Beneful Originals and less of the previous food to your dog’s dish each day until the changeover is complete. This gradual transition will help avoid dietary upsets.
