Instructions

Heat thoroughly. Heating Instructions: Keep frozen until ready to use. Heat to a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees F. All appliances vary. Times given are approximate. In The Skillet: Recommended Method: Preheat skillet over medium-high heat for one minute. Add oil and frozen crumbles to skillet. Heat for half of the time with a lid on skillet, stirring occasionally. Remove lid. Heat at medium-low the other half of the same time, stirring constantly. Grillers Crumbles: About 1/2 Cup: Oil (1/2 teaspoon); Time (1 min 30 sec). Grillers Crumbles: About 1 – 1/2 Cups: Oil (1 – 1/2 teaspoons); Time (2 min). Grillers Crumbles: About 3 Cups: Oil (1 tablespoon); Time (3 min). Product is hot. Carefully remove from skillet. Cool briefly before serving. In The Microwave*: Place frozen crumbles in a microwave safe bowl. Add water and cover with a paper napkin. Microwave on high setting, stirring often. See amounts and heating times below. Grillers Crumbles: About 1/2 Cup: Water (1/2 teaspoons), Time (45 sec); Grillers Crumbles: About 1-1/2 Cups: Water (1-1/2 teaspoon), Time (2 min 15 sec); Grillers Crumbles: About 3 Cups: Water (1 tablespoon), Time (4 min 30 sec). Let stand 1 min in microwave to complete heating. ** Heating instructions developed using 1100 watt microwave. Microwave ovens vary. Times given are approximate. Great in sauces to replace cooked ground beef (Tomato-based pasta, taco, sloppy Joe, barbeque, gravy, etc.). Bring your favorite sauce to a simmer over medium-low heat in a covered saucepan. Add skillet or microwave prepared crumbles to the simmering sauce. Cover and re-heat to a simmer for 1-2 min over medium-low heat, stirring often, until thoroughly heated.
