Description
Long Grain Enriched White Rice
Instructions
What's Needed: 1 cup Lowes Foods long grain white rice. 2 cups water. 1/2 teaspoon salt. Cooking Instructions: 1. Bring 2 cups water to a boil in a saucepan. 2. Stir in rice and salt. 3. Return to a boil over medium-high heat. 4. Reduce heat to simmer. 5. Cover the saucepan, and cook rice for 15 minutes, or until all water water is absorbed. 6. Remove from heat and let stand, covered, for 5 minutes. 7. Fluff with a fork and serve. Note: To retain vitamins, do not raise rinse before or drain after cooking.
