Monterey: When I began Maddalena Wines, my vision was simple: to create wines that captured the spirit of our family and the beauty of California's vineyards. As a young girl from Italy, I came to this country with big dreams, and over the years, I found myself deeply in love with the winemaking process and the land that makes it possible. My family calls me Lena, a nickname that has always felt like a warm reminder of my roots and the love we share. My husband, Stefano, and I spent years nurturing our vineyards on the Central Coast, pouring our hearts into each harvest. Our Chardonnay, crisp with hints of green apple and a touch of oak, reflects the freshness of the ocean breeze that sweeps over our vines. For me, each wine tells a story-of our journey, our family, and the land we cherish.
