A flavorful addition to lunch or dinner, each bag contains green beans with almonds and no added sauce. Green Giant frozen vegetables make it easier to get your daily serving of veggies. These frozen green beans with almonds provide 45 calories per serving, and are available in an easy-to-stack box with a microwaveable pouch inside for easy preparation. To enjoy these green beans, microwave in the pouch on high until thoroughly cooked. Keep these Green Giant green beans frozen until you are ready to cook and refrigerate any leftovers. Green Giant works hard to make it easy for you to be good to yourself.
Instructions
Must cook thoroughly. See cook instructions. Directions: For food safety and quality, follow the directions. Before eating, cook thoroughly to at least 165 degrees F. Keep frozen until ready to cook. Do not thaw. Adjust cook times and heat settings as needed. Refrigerate leftovers. Microwave - (recommended): Remove almond packet. Place vegetable pouch, printed side up, on microwaveable plate. Do not cut slit in pouch. Microwave on high according to chart until thoroughly cooked. Microwave Wattage: 1200; Time on High*: 3 1/2 - 4 min. Microwave Wattage: 1000; Time on High*: 4 1/2 - 5 min. Microwave Wattage: 700; Time on High*: 6 min. Let stand 1 minute. Caution: hot! Pull or cut to open. Empty into serving dish; stir in almonds. * Microwave ovens vary. Adjust cooking times as needed. Product will vent while cooking; a popping sound may be heard. Stove Top: Important: Do not heat pouch in boiling water. Remove almonds. Boil 1/3 cup water in a 1-quart nonstick saucepan. Empty contents of vegetable pouch into saucepan; bring to boil. Reduce heat to medium. Cook for 2-4 minutes, stirring occasionally, until thoroughly cooked; drain. Add almonds. Keep frozen.
