Instructions

Cooking Instructions: 1. Rinse rice in cool water until the water runs clear and then drain in a colander. 2. Bring 2 cups water to a boil with 1/4 tsp of salt (optional). 3. Add 1 cup rice and bring back to a boil and cover with lid. Reduce heat to simmer. 4. Cook for 15 minutes or until water is absorbed and the rice is tender. 5. Remove from heat and allow rice to sit (covered) for 5 to 10 minutes. Fluff with fork and serve. For high altitudes, use slightly more water and allow 5 minutes longer cooking time. Store in a cool, dry place.
