Description
White Rice, Long Grain, Enriched
Instructions
Cooking Instructions: For Tender, Fluffy Rice: 1. Combine in 3-quart saucepan 2 cups water, 1 cup uncooked rice and if desired, 1 tsp salt. 2. Bring to boil. 3. Turn heat down low and cover with a lid. 4. Simmer 15 minutes, or until all water is absorbed. Serve. Note: For high altitudes, use slightly more water and allow 5 minutes longer cooking time. To retain vitamins, do not rinse before or drain after cooking. Rice is a natural agricultural product. Despite the use of modern cleaning equipment, it is not always possible to remove all foreign materials. Sort and remove foreign materials before cooking. Difference in altitude, hardness of water and product moisture may change the suggested cook time. Store in a cool, dry place.
