Instructions

Roasting In-Shell Nuts: Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Spread in-shell nuts on a baking sheet and roast for 20 minutes, then carefully remove one nut, holding it with a dish towel or pot holder, and crack it open. The meat should ne lightly toasted and aromatic. If it still looks pale inside, roast a few minutes longer. Keep in mind that walnuts ad almonds may take less time. Let cool, then serve. For extra freshness, store nuts in freezer or refrigerator.
