Easily prepare frozen family meals in about 16 minutes on the stove-top or in the microwave. For stove-top preparation, pour sauce pouch and contents of the bag into a skillet with water, stir and simmer until heated through according to package instructions. For even faster preparation, microwave the garlic chicken frozen meal according to the package instructions. Stove Top - Full Bag: Preferred Method. 1. Empty frozen meal into a large nonstick skillet. Add 1/2 cup of water. 2. Cover and cook over medium - high heat 13 to 16 minutes, stirring occasionally. 3. Check that food is cooked thoroughly. Careful, it's hot! Stir and serve. Microwave Oven - Half Bag: Do not microwave in bag. 1. Empty half of the frozen meal (about 6 cups) into an 8-inch square microwave - safe dish and cover. 2. Microwave on high 5 minutes, stir thoroughly and replace cover. 3. Microwave an additional 4 to 6 minutes. 4. Check that food is cooked thoroughly. Careful, it's hot! Let stand covered 2 minutes. Stir and serve. For Food Safety and Quality: Keep frozen. Do not thaw. Microwave directions developed with 1100 - watt microwave ovens. Appliances vary. Adjust cooking times as needed. Food must be cooked thoroughly to 165 degrees F.
